Air Suspension Compressors & Hydraulic Pumps
Compressors rarely fail on their own. In 8 out of 10 cars we see, the compressor burnt out because it was running continuously trying to compensate for a leak somewhere else. That is why we never replace a compressor before finding the leak — replacing it without fixing the cause means you're back in two months with the same fault and the same bill.

Signs of a weakening compressor
A compressor warns you before it dies. Catch these early and you avoid taking the relay and fuse with it.
- Compressor runs longer than usual, or runs while the car is parked
- Car takes noticeably longer to rise after start-up
- Suspension warning that appears and disappears with ambient temperature
- Knocking or metallic scraping from the compressor area
- Car rises on one side but not the other
We rebuild compressors, not just swap them
Many compressors are saved with a service kit: piston ring, filter and dryer. That saves 40–60% against a new unit.
- Piston ring replacement and cylinder refurbishment
- Moisture-saturated air dryer replacement
- Intake filter clean or replace
- Relay and power supply circuit testing
- Post-repair fill-time test against the reference value
Units we work on
AMK, Wabco, Hitachi and Arnott compressors — each with its own failure pattern. A Range Rover compressor is diagnosed and rebuilt completely differently from a Mercedes Airmatic unit.
By your car's brand
Every brand has a different system and failure pattern. Pick yours for brand-specific detail:
From inspection to handover
Full system inspection
We look for the leak first — replacing a compressor without fixing the cause wastes your money.
Compressor assessment
Fill time and current draw measured to decide if it is rebuildable.
Rebuild or replace
Service kit where possible, OEM unit where the compressor is beyond saving.
Testing
A full fill cycle and road test before handover.
Frequently Asked Questions
Why do air suspension compressors burn out?
The number one cause is a leak elsewhere in the system forcing the compressor to run until it overheats. The second is a moisture-saturated air dryer letting water into the cylinder. We treat the cause before the part.
What does a compressor cost in Kuwait?
A rebuild kit costs far less than a new compressor, and prices vary by model. After the free inspection you get both options priced.
Is a used compressor a good option?
We don't recommend it. You have no idea how many hours it ran or whether it was working against a leak. The service life is unknown and we cannot warranty it.
