Audi Specialist in Kuwait
Audi's adaptive air suspension shares its foundation with the VW Touareg and Porsche Cayenne on some generations, but the coding and reference values differ. Audi is notably sensitive about ride-height calibration — get it wrong after installation and you get tyre wear and repeat faults.

The system used
Adaptive Air Suspension — on models: Q7 4L / 4M, Q8, A8 D3 / D4 / D5, A6 Allroad C5 / C6 / C7, Q5 (مجهز).
Recurring faults on this brand
- Air spring leaks
Very common on Q7 4L and A6 Allroad. The first-generation Q7 is known for it.
- Adaptive suspension compressor
Weakening or burnout, usually rooted in the air dryer.
- Valve block
Internal leaks dropping a whole axle when parked.
- Ride-height sensors
Arms crack in the heat and connectors corrode in the dust.
- "Suspension System Fault"
Appears with restricted ride height; needs a module read to identify the cause.
- Post-installation calibration
A mandatory step most garages skip — the result is repeat faults.

A note from the workshop
After any Audi air suspension work, electronic ride-height calibration is mandatory and must be followed by a four-wheel alignment at normal height. We do both as part of the job, not as an extra.
