Range Rover Specialist in Kuwait
Range Rovers are among the most common cars we see for air suspension faults — not because the design is weak, but because EAS is a complex system that demands precise diagnosis, and most garages approach it by guesswork. We work on Range Rover with a brand-specific diagnostic platform and know the failure pattern of each model individually.
The system used
Electronic Air Suspension (EAS) — on models: L405, L494 Sport, L322, L460, Velar L560, Evoque, Discovery L462.
Recurring faults on this brand
- Air spring leaks
The most common fault, especially on L405 and L322 past year five. Cracking starts in the lower fold.
- Weak or burnt compressor
AMK and Hitachi units on L405 and L494. Usually caused by an untreated leak forcing continuous running.
- Valve block leak
Causes one corner to drop overnight. A seal kit is normally enough — the block rarely needs replacing.
- Ride-height sensor or linkage
The plastic sensor arm becomes brittle in the heat and snaps, producing impossible height readings.
- Moisture-saturated air dryer
A recurring problem in Kuwait's humidity — moisture reaches the cylinder and kills the compressor.
- "Suspension Fault – Normal Height Only"
The system has restricted itself to normal height. Usually a leak or a sensor.

A note from the workshop
On L405 and L494 we always inspect the air dryer when replacing a compressor — fitting a new compressor to a saturated dryer means burning it out again within months.
