Gearbox Repair & Service
Many transmissions written off as "failed" are actually degraded fluid, a mechatronic unit needing programming, or incorrect adaptation values. Before we talk about opening a gearbox, we test the cheaper answers first — and a lot of cars never go past that stage.

Transmission services
- Dynamic fluid flush with filter and pan replacement
- Mechatronic unit diagnosis and repair
- Seal and gasket replacement for fluid leaks
- Adaptation reset and transmission programming
- Torque converter diagnosis and lock-up shudder
- Full rebuild where genuinely required
Transmission fluid is not "lifetime"
Manufacturers call it lifetime fluid. That holds in a temperate climate; in Kuwait's heat it degrades far faster. We recommend a change every 60,000–80,000 km — that alone adds years to a gearbox.

Frequently Asked Questions
My gearbox jolts when shifting — is it finished?
Not necessarily. Shift shock is usually degraded fluid, incorrect adaptations or the mechatronic unit. We start with diagnosis and programming before discussing a rebuild.
How often should I change transmission fluid?
In Kuwait's climate, every 60,000–80,000 km even if the manufacturer says lifetime. High temperatures shorten fluid life substantially.
