We don't add gas before finding the leak
If the AC was cold a year ago and is weak now, the gas went somewhere. Recharging without repairing the leak wastes your money and vents refrigerant. We find the leak with dye first, repair it, then charge to the exact factory weight by machine.

The AC cools but not like it used to — why?
Usually gradual refrigerant loss from a small leak, a dust-clogged condenser, or a blocked cabin filter. We start with pressure readings to tell which.
How often should I recharge the refrigerant?
A sealed system never needs recharging. If you're topping up yearly, you have a leak that needs repair — repeat recharging is a fault symptom, not maintenance.
