Service Suspension System light on with unsettled ride. The dealer quote was for four MagneRide dampers.
Inspection showed only two dampers leaking; the other two were within spec. We also found a corroded connector at the left rear damper setting a code despite the damper being healthy.
Replaced the two leaking dampers with high-quality alternatives, repaired the corroded connector with a soldered and heat-sealed joint, cleared codes and system tested.
Light out and ride restored, for far less than the four-damper quote. Turnaround: two days.
