Volkswagen Touareg & Phaeton
Touareg shares its air suspension foundation with Cayenne and Q7 on some generations, but the coding and calibration differ. Its faults are predictable and well documented, and a correct repair here always includes electronic ride-height calibration afterwards.
The system used
4CL air suspension — on models: Touareg 7L / 7P / CR, Phaeton, Arteon.

A note from the workshop
Touareg requires basic ride-height calibration after any suspension work. Skipping it leaves the car at the wrong height and eats tyres.
